XIV ed. Winter School closing session

 

Last Friday, February 26, the closing of the in-residence phase of the XIV edition of the Winter School of the Master Work Organizational and Personel Psychology took place.

The event was chaired by the Coordinator of the Master Vicente Martínez Tur who addressed a few words to the attendees indicating the meaning of the event and also thanking the institutions and people who have made the development of this Winter School possible, which has had an exceptional character for its virtual development. Later, Mr. Cristobal Suria, manager of the General Foundation of the University of Valencia, intervened, who expressed his satisfaction at seeing the culmination of this edition, with its peculiarities and challenges, and congratulated the participants for the achievements obtained.

During the session, the participation and achievement diplomas were awarded to the 42 participants and the prizes were also given to the two winning teams of the intervention designs to improve, on the one hand, the service climate and, on the other, the evaluation of the performance of a hospital . For two weeks, ten teams have been working on a design proposal and on Friday throughout the day the presentations of the proposals were made, being evaluated by a committee of four professors.

Also in the closing ceremony, the ‘WOP-Py’ awards were presented, which recognize those students who have excelled (in the opinion of their classmates, in a secret ballot) in showing any of the nine values ​​that inspire the development of Winter.

After this award ceremony, two representatives of the students made an intervention on behalf of their classmates that was very emotional and in which they presented the experiences and experiences during it, thanking the contributions of the teachers and all those who have supported the development.

Finally, several videos were shown with the greetings of the coordinators of each university in the consortium, another showing different moments of the Winter School and the third about the practicum, which is the next step in the students’ training process. The event ended with the words of Prof. José M. Peiró Coordinator of the Winter School wishing them much success in their next stage and in their professional future and thanking the students for their work and cooperation and the teachers and the coordination team, with special mention Special to Carolina Moliner and Luminita Patras, for all their work that has also made this XIV edition a great success and has promoted the learning and professional development of the participants in it.
